Searching out the bikes...(we already know these are the ones we want and we are willing to pay the full price, but Gabe quickly told me to put the camera away and stop looking like a tourist cuz we need to do some New York bargaining). I believe we were able to bargain about $10 off, we came out paying $150 each. We got a killer deal!

Brooke be careful on those bikes! There are some crazy drivers there that I've seen and they show no mercy. Be brave and hold your own! You could probably weasle your way through traffic with some practice.
Are those authentic Chinese knock off bikes?
Yesterday we checked out some bikes from craigslist. It was the closest I've ever felt to being in danger so far. This guy had obviously stolen all these bikes, he had about 20 of them. I'm so bitter that we were naive enough to think that the internet route could have worked. I also want to turn that nasty dude into the cops, but it's hard to prove that he stole them. There is no doubt that I am growing up here, in a couple months you guys aren't even going to be able to recognize me I'll be so street smart!...and no our bikes are not chinese knock off's, they are genuine schwinn's, very classy in fact.

Yes you can indeed ride my bike! Prospect park is a mile and half away. One more reason to come visit us!
